Newport West needs YOU. This weekend Ruth Jones, the Labour candidate, is canvassing and leaflet distribution in Newport West, which is a crucial area for tactical voting! Ruth is a pro-remain voice in Newport West and you can help make sure there are more Pro-remain voices in Westminster to get the all-important People’s Vote.

This event will involve canvassing, which means knocking on doors, finding out if people are voting for Aled and finding out what issues most concern people who haven’t yet made up their minds. Ruth’s team will be on hand to help you during the day and can pair you with a more experiences campaigner if this is your first time on the doorstep, and you’ll be briefed beforehand on what you need to do. Canvassing makes a huge difference in a General Election, but if you’d rather help in a different way they will be at the CWU Offices, 18-20 Mill Street, Newport, Gwent, NP20 5HA for the rest of Saturday, so go join them there and help in any way you can!
